This pattern can be knitted for any number of stitches for any size
I knitted a pair for UK 6, EU 39 size foot using US 1 / 2.25mm needles and working with 56 sts

You can make the leg as long or as short as you wish

GAUGE

16 sts x 22 rows = 2 inches / 5 cm with needles US 1 / 2.25 mm stockinette - Always check your gauge
