This is an easy pattern that knits up very quickly which makes it perfect for a last minute gift or a little something to let someone know that you’re thinking of them.

This slip stitch waffle pattern is easy enough for a newbie knitter but it’s also entertaining enough for the more experienced knitter.

This pattern is also highly adaptable: you can knit a longer piece for an infinity scarf or use an extra chunky yarn for a super cozy look.

MATERIAL

• 1 skein of we are knitters (WAK) The Petite Wool in Grey or your favourite Aran weight yarn. This pattern uses approximately 80 gr/112 m or 3 oz/123 yds of WAK the petite wool.
• 8 mm/ 11 US knitting needles (circular or straight) or whatever sized needle required to get gauge.
• 2 markers
• Blunt sewing needle for seaming
• Scrap yarn (in a contrasting colour) if you cast on with the provisional cast on method
• A third knitting needle if you bind off with a three needle bind off
