A Wall Hanging inspired by St. Paddy’s Day!

I wanted to create something for Saint Patrick’s day that was a little different. None of the clovers and pots of gold and cliche things that are normally out there. Since I enjoy putting words on things, a friend suggested utilizing the term Craic since it’s popular Irish word and the term “Love the Craic” is used as a bit of a play on words.

If you don’t already know, craic just means fun and/or entertainment, especially used in regards to being in good company and good conversation :smile:

Size(s):
9x11”

Materials:
Yarn -
(A) Dishie (100% Cotton; 190y; 100g): Jalapeno, 85.5y; 45g (>1 skein)
(B) Dishie (100% Cotton; 190y; 100g): Creme Brulee, 29y; 15g (>1 skein)

Can substitute other worsted weight yarns, I just always prefer the drape and stitch definition of cotton yarns for smaller wall hangings.

Hook -
4.0mm

Notions -
12” wooden dowel
