Simple, stylish & functional, this cowl can be worn any which way. I wanted something warm and chunky with limited embellishment, but this cowl can be customized & embellished in as many ways as it can be worn. Use a different material, a new stitch, a colourful yarn, extra buttons, more or less buttonholes, a longer length, shorter width…you can pretty much do anything with this cowl. The basic pattern is a rectangle with buttons and buttonholes. Exact measurements are in the pdf, and hopefully they’ll give you a good place to start.

The cowl pictured is knit with a chunky wool blend in garter stitch.
