This sweet little voodoo doll is going to steal your heart! He’ll be “tied up inside your love voodoo” just like the Duran Duran song.

Besides the embroidery, this is a no-sew pattern. His arms and legs are made with a nice flexible i-cord that help make him super posable. You can either sew the crocheted heart to his body or leave it unattached and embellish his body as well. And if you choose, you can add a weighted pouch to his bottom to help him sit up nicely on his own.

Materials:
• Worsted weight yarn
• 3mm crochet hook
• Fiberfill
• Black and maroon embroidery floss.
• 1 Button
• A small square of red felt
• Tapestry needle, straight pins, skewer, safety pin, scissors
• Optional Pins for sticking into the voodoo doll
• Optional items for weighted pouch: White fabric, a filler like plastic pellets or fish tank gravel, needle and white thread.

Size: Using the materials listed, the doll sits at about 5” high. Laying him down and measuring his legs as well, he’s about 9” long. Gauge is not important to this pattern. Size will vary depending on the materials chosen.

Skill Level: This pattern is written for advanced beginner crocheters and beyond. The advanced beginner is familiar with making amigurumi and understands basic amigurumi crochet terminology and stitches such as the single crochet, invisible decrease, increase, magic circle, continuous round, etc.; as well as how to sew pieces together, finish off, hide ends, etc. If you are not familiar with all the terms used in this pattern, there are a multitude of tutorials on You Tube that can help.
