This cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up. It decreases in width as you work your way to the top. The decreases are made throughout the cowl to make the shape uniformly round. This also makes the cowl lie nicely on the shoulders and neck.

This is a quick and easy project to show off those bulky hand dyed yarns in your stash. The stitch pattern is simple, but more interesting to knit than just plain stockinette. You can have some fun and use this pattern as a stash buster, by holding two or three strands of yarn together to create your own bulky yarn.

This is a versatile piece to add to your wardrobe - wear it casually with a pair of jeans or dress it up if you’re going out for the evening.

Have fun, be creative, and enjoy!
