Lovegood Scarf
I went to the Estes Park Wool Market in June 2024. This was one of the yarns I bought there. I am a “pink” person so picked that up immediately and then selected the solid blue to coordinate with it. Did a lot of swatching playing with the stitch combinations before settling on this pattern. Each edge off the scarf has a twisted stitch that gives a lovely edge. The two ends are garter stitch that is also used throughout the design.
It is a scarf but is just wide enough that it could be worn as a shawl.
Measurements: 12 1/2” X 60”
Gauge is not super critical because it is a scarf.
Gauge: 25 sts and 32 rows = 4”
One skein of 2 complimentary colorways was used for this scarf but it could be made in one color using 2 skeins.
