This sock pattern is worked from the top down, first casting on three times the number of stitches needed to fit the circumference of your leg for the perfect ruffled lettuce hem. This pattern is also very good for flexing your lace knitting muscles if you aren’t too used to them just yet.

Requirements

Long 2mm circular knitting needles (I suggest 60cm or longer)
3ply/Lace weight yarn of any color
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle

Gauge Swatch

30 stitches × 35 rows in lace pattern = 10cm
