Lovelock
This scarf was designed in memory of my lovely friend, Ciera, who sadly passed away in November 2016. All of the proceeds from pattern sales will be donated to Harmless, a local charity, chosen by Ciera’s family, who provide support to those who struggle with self-harm.
By purchasing this pattern – not only will you receive comfort from a cosy scarf of your own, but you are also helping Harmless to provide comfort and support to those who really need it.
We have raised £899.15 in Ciera’s memory since February 28th 2017! Let’s keep going.
ABOUT THE PATTERN
It is knitted in Blacker Yarn’s gorgeous Tamar DK, which is a beautiful lustre yarn spun from the fleeces of fine British rare breeds. This yarn is very soft with excellent drape, making it perfect for a scarf. If you wish to substitute, make sure you choose a DK yarn with good stitch definition that can be blocked firmly.
The scarf is wide and long for maximum wrapping potential. The scarf can be made shorter by reducing the number of pattern repeats if you’d prefer.
