For this pattern, you need to know the basics of Tunisian crochet. There is a complete tutorial (with videos) available on my website.

For those that know TiTR be careful I use 2 different kinds of corners in this pattern.

You can use your own favorite yarn. You can also use a color-changing yarn for the return pass, however, you need a different color that is not in this yarn for the forward pass! Make sure that you use the right size for the forward pass (make a normal Tunisian swatch).
The pattern is based on a crosstitch pattern which I turned into a Tunisian chart with my own twist.
