This is an original crochet pattern by Crochet Oasis, named “Lovely Loafers”. The pattern is written for 3 baby shoe sizes (using worsted weight yarn & 3.5 mm crochet hook):-
Size 1: 9 – 12 months old (approximately 11.5 cm long)
Size 2: 12 – 15 months old (approximately 12.5 cm long)
Size 3: 15 – 24 months old (approximately 13.5 cm long)
It is possible to downsize the shoe for:
(a) 3 - 6 months old (10.5 cm long) simply by using DK/ lightworsted weight yarn & a 3.0 mm hook size on Size 1.
This pattern is written in US crochet terms & in English.
The pattern guide consists of 41-pages in pdf format & contains over 80 photos with detailed instructions to help you along the way.

To do this project, you would need to know the following stitches:
Chain stitch - ch
Single crochet - sc
Slip stitch - sl st
Invisible slip stitch - inv sl st
Half double crochet - hdc
Double crochet - dc
Split single crochet - ssc
