This knitting pattern can help you create a detailed fair isle sweater, like the ones pictured here. This yoked sweater is worked from the turtleneck downwards. Using three colors (or more if desired), the colorwork is completed on the yoke, which means that dressing the doll is less of a challenge than with a sweater where the colorwork goes all the way down the sleeves.

The sweater may fit a variety of 7-8 inch dolls, but is specifically fitted to Helen Kish’s 7 1/2” Riley dolls. The sweater is completely open in the back for ease of knitting.
