Lovely shorties socks are knit cuff-down in the round.

SIZE:

• foot circumference 20 - 21.5 cm [8 - 8.5’’], size EU 35 - 38 [US 4 - 6].
• foot circumference 22 - 23.5 cm [8.8 - 9.2’’], size EU 39 - 41 [US 7 - 9].

GAUGE: 
26 sts. x 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4’’].
For more precise result swatch in the round on the same needles you will use for the socks.

NEEDLES: 
3.0 mm (or size to get pattern gauge) in your preferred format of sock needles: either 5 DPNs, long (80 - 100 cm [32 - 40”]) circulars for Magic Loop or short (25 cm [9”]) circulars, etc.

YARN:
100 g or 380-420 m [415 - 460] yds of (heavy) fingering-weight yarn.
Sample was knit out of Mondim Retrosaria (100 % portuguese wool, 100 g / 385 m [421 yds]).

NOTIONS: 
3 markers (2 can be the same + 1 unique for BOR), cable needle (optional, you can easily work twisted sts without one), crochet hook, tapestry needle, scissors, ruler or tape measure, sock blockers (optional), piece of scrap yarn.
