Lovely Stripes takes the eyelets from the Lovely Eyelets shawl and the stripes from 8 Simple Stripes and creates a larger, lighter, and airier shawl with lots of design versatility. This is a pattern that’s perfect for mini skeins, fade sets, complementary or contrasting colours, or a single shade.

The pattern is written for a mini-skein set of 5 colours (SweetGeorgia Party of Five in Royals) plus an additional skein of a 6th colour (SweetGeorgia Tough Love Sock in Lilac) but includes a yarn use diagram to help you plan alternate yarn combinations. The second shawl shown here was knitted with a Koigu Pencil Box Set of 10 mini-skeins in Sweet Pea. Finished Measurements: Approximately 26 inches (66 cm) deep at middle point and 54 inches (137 cm) long across top edge, blocked.
