Lovers knot is a lacy beaded wedding garter worked in Solomon’s knot, also know as lovers knot. The garter casing is worked first, and the double (front and back) beaded frills are worked downwards from the base of the casing.
The pattern is written for one size (43 - 49 cms/ 17” - 19½“ circumference), but instructions for easy size adjustments are included.
Beads are added to the front and back frills during the final rows.

The pattern has written instructions only and uses UK terminology.

Skills required: double crochet, trebles, Solomon’s knot, adding beads.

Materials required:
1 ball Twilleys Twenty crochet cotton, 1.25mm crochet hook, sewing needle, white thread
beading needle and short length of beading thread, or pva glue to stiffen the end of the thread for threading beads,
size 11 seed beads, 52 blue, 52 pearl
5mm/¼“ elastic
3 stitch markers or safety pins
