Lovi-hat is worked in the round from the brim up. The brim can be knitted straight or sloped, shaped with short rows.

Yarn

100 g of worsted weight yarn, app. 210 m (230 yds) per 100 g. The sample(size M) was knitted with Malabrigo Yarn Rios in colourway 37 Lettuce, (100% Merino, 192 m/ 210 yds per 100 g) and used 75 g.

Needles & notions

3.75 mm/ US 5 and 4.50 mm/ US 7 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) circular needle, or set of DPNs or size to obtain gauge
markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge

22.5 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4 x 4 inches with larger needles in pattern after blocking.
