This showpiece was a winner at the Schoolhouse Arts Center 1989 Afghan Contest. The afghan includes white thread roses climbing panels of country blue and white yarn.

The afghan is made in afghan stitch and the roses and leaves are made out of bedspread cotton and attached separately.
