Thank you so much for checking out my low sew baby dragon! I needed a quick, cute dragon I could make on repeat for a market coming up so I created this little baby.

This pattern is written in US terms and requires very little sewing! The pieces are all tied on as we go so the only sewing we need to do is the head and optional eyelids. This pattern works up well in all different yarn weights! Your dragon’s finished size depends on the yarn, hook, and tension of your stitches. Mine end up being around 3 (worsted weight, 3.75 mm), 4 (bulky, 5 mm), and 6 (super bulky, 8 mm) inches tall.

Yarn
2 colors in any matching weight (main color (a), accent color (b))
12 mm - 24 mm safety eyes (size depends on preference & yarn used)
blunt tipped needle for sewing
poly-fil
optional: stitch markers, sewing pins (to pin pieces in place before sewing)

Worsted weight acrylic - 3.75 mm hook; 12-18 mm eyes
Bernat baby velvet - 3.75 mm hook; 12-18 mm eyes
