When Iearned this specific cable stitch, not only did I fall in love with it, it spoke to me, as well. The texture, the simplicity, all of it called to me to be a large throw that you could cuddle up in on a chilly evening.

This throw works up fairly quickly with the Super Chunky yarn, large needles and an 8 row repeat. The blanket also has a hefty amount of weight to it, so it feels like a nice, warm hug.
