Lowlands Vest
Lowlands sweater vest is a classic v neck Fair Isle style vest, knitted bottom up seamlessly in the round to the underarm where steek sts are added to fill the gaps at the neck and armholes and avoid having to work any colourwork back and forth in rows. Shoulders are joined with a 3-needle cast off and the steeks are stabilised with crochet chains and cut open before sts are picked up around the armhole and neckline for ribbed trims. The v neck trim features a mitred decrease finish.
