This cute little sweater is a great little layering piece. It knits up quickly on US 8 (5mm) needles and is perfect for a boy or a girl.

It knit in one piece starting from the front bottom and working up and over to the back bottom. Seam up the sides and under the arms to finish up..
This is a very easy pattern with just garter stitch and stockinette stitch throughout the pattern

Use cotton yarn for a summer top or wool for a winter layering piece. I knit the smallest size up in a day to take to a last-minute baby shower I was invited to.
