Luceta
Meet Luceta, a lariat made out of a long beaded cord. This cord can be made either with a lucet or with I-Cord. Square Japanese seed beads in three colors are used to create a modern and distinctive necklace.

The pattern includes a detailed instructional video to support you in using a lucet, believed to first be used by the Vikings to create cord.
Materials
22 yards 20 meters 3/2 100% mercerized perle cotton
US Size 1 2.25 mm double pointed needles OR 1 lucet
Approx. 7 grams 4 mm Japanese glass square beads in 3 colors
2 Size 6 Japanese seed beads (for fringe)
1 dental floss threader (for stringing beads on fringe)
1 piece super floss (for placing beads)
.75-inch hammered metal ring
Optional: Small-gauge crochet hook for working lucet stitches
