I saw this yarn while browsing in my LYS and thought it was lovely – great colorways slow color changes. It was soft, too! So, I grabbed a ball of the colorway that spoke to me the most that day, unsure of what exactly it would become. This scarf is worked as a right triangle, from the point increasing out. There are sections of garter (great for mindless tv or group knitting) alternated with eyelet sections (so it isn’t too mindless). A selvedge edge adds a nice braided look down the edges as well.

Materials:
1 ball of Luci by Louisa Harding Yarns, color 14 “Isola Rossa” shown. 100 grams, 349 yds, 41/41/18 Virgin Wool/Acrylic/Viscose, fingering weight. If you have 85 grams or so of fingering weight left over from another project, it should be about the same yardage.
1 US 6 circular needle in 24- or 32-inch length
Yarn needle to weave in ends

Measurements:
Gauge is not critical for this project. Scarf measures approximately 19 inches wide and 54 inches long. The scarf will grow quite a bit after blocking – I did not pin mine out, but simply reshaped and let it dry flat instead. It has a nice squishy quality. You will probably have a longer scarf should you choose to block by pinning it out.
