Notes:
This pattern is pretty easy, maybe a little tricky at the end – but I’m sure you’ll manage.

Materials:
Even though I crocheted the hearts using my favourite 3mm hook and Phildar Phil Coton 3 Chanvre and Poudre, the pattern should work out fine using any yarn you like.

Abreviations:
tr = treble
mc = magic circle
ch = chain stitch
ss = slip stitch
tr2tog = 2 tr together (= decreasing one stitch)

Instructions:
Start with a magic circle

Round 1: ch 3 (= 1 tr) in mc, 9 tr in mc (= total 10 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Round 2: ch 3 (= 1 tr), “ 2 tr in 1st tr, 1 tr in next tr “, repeat “” 4 times (= total 15 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Round 3: ch 3 (= 1 tr), 1 tr in 1st tr, “ 2 tr in next tr, 1 tr in next 2 tr “, repeat “” 3 times, 2 tr in last tr (= total 20 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Round 4: ch 3 (= 1 tr), 1 tr in next 2 tr, “ 2 tr in next tr, 1 tr in next 3 tr “, repeat “” 3 times, 2 tr in last tr (= total 25 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Round 5: ch 3 (= 1 tr), 1 tr in next 3 tr, “ 2 tr in next tr, 1 tr in next 4 tr “, repeat “” 3 times, 2 tr in last tr (= total 30 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Round 6: ch 3 (= 1 tr), 1 tr in next 4 tr, “ 2 tr in next tr, 1 tr in next 5 tr “, repeat “” 3 times, 2 tr in last tr (= total 35 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Round 7: ch 3 (= 1 tr), 1 tr in next 5 tr, “ 2 tr in next tr, 1 tr in next 6 tr “, repeat “” 3 times, 2 tr in last tr (= total 40 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Round 8: ch 3 (= 1 tr), 1 tr in next 6 tr, “ 2 tr in next tr, 1 tr in next 7 tr “, repeat “” 3 times, 2 tr in last tr (= total 45 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Round 9: ch 3 (= 1 tr), 1 tr in next 7 tr, “ 2 tr in next tr, 1 tr in next 8 tr “, repeat “” 3 times, 2 tr in last tr (= total 50 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Rounds 10-12: ch 3 (= 1 tr), 1 tr in next 49 tr (= total 50 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Round 13: ch 5, skip 23 tr of round 12, ss in 24th tr (= first bridge), ss in 25th tr, ch 5, ss in last tr of round 12 (= second bridge)

Second Bridge: (start here as you need not cut thread)
Round 13a: ch 3 (=1 tr), 1 tr in each ch of bridge, 1 tr in 25th tr (with ss), 1 tr in next 24 tr (= total 31 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Round 14: ch 3 (= 1 tr), “ tr2tog in both next tr, 1 tr in next tr “, repeat “” 9 times (= total 21 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Round 15: ch 3 (= 1 tr), “ tr2tog in both next tr, 1 tr in next tr “, repeat “” 4 times (= total 14 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Round 16: ch 2, 1 tr in next tr crochet together (= decreasing one stitch), 6 times tr2tog (= total 6 tr). Cut thread, weave thread through last 6 tr, pull together an weave thread in.

First Bridge:
Round 13a: ch 3 (= 1 tr) in 1st tr before this bridge, 1 tr in next 22 tr, 1 tr in 23rd tr (with ss), 1 tr in each ch of bridge, 1 tr in 3rd ch of Round 12 (= total 30 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Round 14: ch 3 (= 1 tr), “ tr2tog in next 2 tr, 1 tr in next tr “, repeat “” 8 times, tr2tog in last 2 tr (= total 20 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Round 15: ch3 (= 1tr), “ tr2tog in next 2 tr, 1 tr in next tr “, repeat “” 5 times, 1 tr in last tr (= 14 tr), ss in 3rd ch
Round 16: ch 2, 1 tr in next tr crochet together (= decreasing one stitch), 6 times tr2tog (= total 6 tr). Cut thread, weave thread through last 6 tr, pull together an weave thread in.

Finishing:
Pull tread of magic circle out. Pull magic circle close, weave thread in. Fill Heart through gap between the bridges. Sew bridges together. Decorate Crochet Heart as you like.
