I was prepping for a photo shoot for a few forthcoming designs and found this fun shawl I designed what seems like a lifetime ago. Not really sure why she got mislaid, but I thought it might be fun to revive her a little. I named her after my grandmother, Lucille, who taught me how to knit (roughly 40 years ago now) because I’ve always thought it’s just the sort of thing that Nana would’ve loved to throw over her shoulders on a brisk fall day.

This is a great pattern for a beginning knitter looking for an easy, rhythmic second or third project. It’s also great for more experienced knitters looking for something relaxing without a lot of paying attention. I encourage you to swatch a few different yarns for this wrap - she looks pretty good in almost any medium worsted weight. I used a long discontinued yarn by Noro called Shinano - but Silk Garden Solo would be exquisite ;)

Happy Knitting and thank you!!
