The cowl of the Lucky family !

This cowl is sold with the matching hat. You will received two files in english and two files in french.

SIZES
child (adult).
Final width (buttoned, flat): approx. 8.8 (10.4) inches 22 (26) cm.
Final height: approx. 6 (8) inches 15 (20) cm.
Shown in child size, in the « confiture de roses » colorway.

GAUGE
26 sts x 25 rows = 4 x 4 inches 10 cm x 10 cm in cable pattern with larger needles (recommended size: US #7 4,5 mm).

MATERIAL
• 50 (80) g of « Gilliatt » by De Rerum Natura (273 yard 250 m /100 g pure French merino), or 140 (220) yards 125 (200) m of any yarn with the same gauge.
• US #7 4,5 mm straight needles (or size required to obtain the indicated gauge).
• US #6 4 mm straight needles (or one size smaller than largest needles).
• 1 (3) marker(s)) (optionnal).
• Tapestry needle.
• 3 buttons of 0.8 to 1 inch 20 to 25 mm diameter.

CONSTRUCTION
The cowl is knitted flat (back and forth), then the stitches are picked up to work the buttoned edge.

Pour un emmitouflage optimal, ce col est vendu avec les instructions du bonnet assorti. Vous recevrez donc les deux fichiers en français et leur traduction.

FIL ET MATÉRIEL
• 50 (80) g de « Gilliatt » de De Rerum Natura (250 m /100 g de mérinos français cardé), ou 125 (200) m de fil permettant d’obtenir le même échantillon.
• Une paire d’aiguilles droites (30 cm) permettant d’obtenir l’échantillon (taille suggérée : 4,5 mm).
• 1 (3) anneau(x) marqueur(s) (optionnel).
• Une aiguille à laine.
• 3 boutons de 20 à 25 mm de diamètre.

CONSTRUCTION
Le col est tricoté à plat (en allers-retours). On relève ensuite des mailles de chaque côté pour réaliser la bordure boutonnée.
