Introduction
The Lucky Days Sweater, named for its increasing horseshoe cables, has an elegant cable yoke which continues down the centre of each sleeve. The fit is slightly cropped yet relaxed in the body, and the sleeves taper towards the cuff.
Sample is shown in 1 strand of Aran weight yarn (green) but can also be knit with 2 strands of fingering plus 1 strand of mohair (purple).
Pattern includes both written and charted instructions for the cables.

Materials
8 / 9 / 11 / 12 / 13 x 50g Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino or another aran-weight yarn (approx 1000 / 1125 / 1275 / 1400 / 1525 metres). Sample is knitted in colorway “Dusty Artichoke”.
Alternatively, you can also use the 2 strands of fingering weight yarn held together with one strand of lace-weight mohair in a similar meterage for each strand.
