I created this hat in honor of Down’s Syndrome Awareness Day. The term Lucky Few refers to how few people there are who have been touched by a child with Down’s Syndrome in their lives. The “V” in the word LOVE is the “Lucky Few Tattoo” gotten by parents and family members of a child with Down’s Syndrome to celebrate that child. I’m making this pattern available for anyone who wants to celebrate these special kiddos in their knitting!
