This listing is for the Applique pattern only.
The pattern is written in U.S. terms. Using a 3.5mm hook will be approx. 16.5cm high & 15cm wide.
I use stylecraft special double knit for most of my applique patterns but any double knit yarn is suitable. Gauge is not important
It looks gorgeous on a blanket or in a shadow box for a wedding gift. you could add numbers in the centre for an anniversary gift too. It also looks great on a bag or wall hanging.
