Lucky Lady mitts
The Lucky Lady mitts are fun project for early spring when the air is still cold. It’s a fun and fast little knit and it’s a great joy to see the ladybug emerging!
The mitts are a sibling to the, honeybee mitts, sionnach mitts and the tyto mitts with the same construction.
The mitts are knitted in jamiesons of shetland in the colours:
104 Natural white, 999 black, 259 Leprechaun, 578 Rust
I also can recommend Rauma finull, tuku fingering or Jamiesons and Smith 2ply jumper weight.
You need:
Approximately 180 yards/ 160 m of main colour (white)
Approximately 100 yards/ 90 m of contrast colour 1 (green)
Approximately 100 yards/90 m of contrast colour 2 (black)
of fingering weight yarn
The size can be adjusted by going up a needle size and/or using a heavier weight yarn.
