“Lucy” is a real all-rounder: in summer it’s an airy top, in the cooler season it’s a nice slipover. The top has a saddle shoulder with a cable pattern that is repeated in the lower edging of back and front. The rest of the top is worked completely in stockinette stitch.

The top is worked in one piece from top to bottom. You start at the saddle shoulder, then pick up stitches for the back and front part and knit in rows up to the armholes. Then the front and back pieces are connected and worked in the round. So nothing needs to be sewn together.
