The blanket is worked in the round with circular needles from the outside in. This is a fun way to knit because as you near the center the rounds proceed faster and faster. Start with at least 36” circular needles or two sets of at least 16” circular needles. Change to double-pointed needles when necessary.

The pattern uses 7 different colors. One skein is enough for each color except the first color after the border (Purple in the image) which requires 2 skeins.
