Digital PDF Knit Pattern: 6-9M Size beginner friendly Lucy knit baby dress or knit frock pattern with video tutorial, Lucy knit baby dress by Knitting for Baby and Crochet for Baby knit patterns

To knit this Lucy baby dress pattern, I used Lion Brand Bamboo Cotton #3 yarn. I used about 150g (355 yd) of yarn for 6-9m size. You will need more or less yarn depending on the size that you’re making. You can also use any yarn with similar weight like DK or 8ply yarns with an approx. thickness of 3mm. You will also need two 7mm size button for back opening.

THE DRESS IS KNIT IN THE ROUND USING THE MAGIC LOOP TECHNIQUE BUT CAN BE KNIT USING SHORTER NEEDLES.

This Lucy baby dress pattern can be made smaller or bigger by simply using bigger or smaller needle size from 0-3m and up to 2-3yrs. This simple and effective technique of making an item smaller or bigger works perfectly because in standard size measurements, the difference between the different sizes is only about 1-2in (2-5cm). By simply changing your hook or needle size you will achieve this size difference all around. One thing to keep in mind though, tension does vary from person to person which can affect the final size. An approximate gauge is available in the pattern for the 6-9M size. Finished size measurements are available for 6-9M size at the end of the video tutorial.
