Lucy the (Almost) No Sew Llama
Create your own little llama with this fun pattern! Your finished Lucy the Llama will stand on her own and measure approximately 9 inches tall.
The pattern is 10 pages long, written in English (US Terminology), and includes many color photos to help you make a beautiful llama with accessories. I recommend this pattern for intermediate-advanced level crocheters. Though this pattern is mostly single crochet worked in the round, there are some techniques that are used which beginner crocheters may find difficult, such as a no-sew technique used for the legs. You will also need to know how to switch colors and do a half double crochet stitch, and a bobble stitch in order to make the blanket. I have given some pretty basic instructions on how to do the bobble stitch and when and how to switch colors.
Supplies needed to make your llama:
4mm crochet hook
Worsted weight yarn in white, peach, pink, and yellow
Darning needle
Polyester fiber fill
Stitch marker
6mm safety eyes
Black thread or embroidery floss
A fork (for making the pom poms)
Pink fabric paint (optional)
