look up the name of the bonnet - it is a beautiful orchid flower!

Gauge: 19 sts in 4in/10cm in stockinette stitch

Yarn and needle size suggestion: I used Lana Grossa Merino Uno and Rowan Pure Wool Worsted and 5mm / US8 needles and 5mm/G crochet hook.

You will need: yarn (up to 100 grams for the biggest size), knitting needles to obtain the gauge (please make a gauge swatch!), darning needle to weave in the yarn ends and to sew the back of the bonnet. Crochet hook in the same mm size as the knitting needles to make the ties (if you are making crochet ties).

The bonnet is knit flat.
