The pattern used at the Hat is a copy of a traditional Sami Pattern from woven ribbons used at the special shoes made of raindeer skin.

In the traditional use, this ribbons are woven in bright colors changing through the pattern. I think the patterns have beautitful shapes and have used only two colors to higlight the shapes.
