Meet Lula, the little dragonfly! She’s a funny one and loves to fly all day around, meting her friends and chat with them.
Lula’s name comes from livelúla (λιβελούλα) which means “dragonfly” in Greek.
There are 2 options for Lula’s face: with crocheted eyes or with embroidered eyes.
LANGUAGE:
English (US terminology)
MATERIALS:
-Cotton yarn in 3-6 colors (depends on which option you choose to make Lula’s face)
-Crochet hook for the yarn you use (I used a 2,5 mm hook)
-Stitch marker or a thread of yarn
-Scissors
-Tapestry needle
-Soft toy stuffing
SIZE:
If made with suggested yarn and hook, Lula will be approximately 20,5 cm | 8 inches tall.
LEVEL:
Advanced beginner
SKILLS NEEDED:
-Basic crochet stitches like chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet.
-You should know how to: make a magic ring, work in continuous rounds (spiral), work in rows, sc increase, hdc increase and sc (invisible) decrease.
-Basic sewing skills to sew parts together.
