This is part of my Lumber Jillian series that reflects those great lumber jack socks. You know, those great grey, white and one tiny strip of red socks?
This is a really simple pattern that would be great for a beginner to sink their teeth into since it uses a single crochet stitch, a double crochet, a half double crochet stitch plus the easy increase and decrease. Everything is laid out in step by step pictures plus I include with every purchase my “Hints and Tips from the Crochet Hook of Bella McBride” to help you along the way.
Pattern includes 7 pages of easy to follow instructions with a 10 step by step pictures to help you along the way
Yarn: Two strands of any medium or worsted weight yarn (#4). I used Briggs and Little 100% Wool.
Notions: Crochet hook, darning needle
Stitches used: Chain, Double Crochet, Single Crochet, Half Double Crochet, Slip Stitch
Skill: As always, designed for any beginner!
Size: Will fit average size woman’s wrist/hand
My patterns are full of pictures and are very simple to read and use. I only use simple crochet stitches and anything the least bit difficult is well laid out in pictures. Any beginner can make these patterns!
