This is a knitting pattern for a pair of mid calf length socks with fair isle wintery motif.

The finished socks should fit a woman’s standard foot (UK size 4-8).

Materials (not included):

• Manos del Uruguay Alegria 4 Ply yarn in Khol (100g).
• Manos del Uruguay Fino 4 Ply yarn in Water Silk (100g). Feel free to use any brand of 4 ply yarn as long as it obtains the correct gauge.
• 2.5mm double pointed needles.
• 2.0mm double pointed needles.
• Darning needle for sewing in ends.

The gauge is 15 rows to 4cms (height) and 13 stitches to 4cms (width) in stockinette stitch.

Additional Skills needed:

• Colourwork.
