Lumikeiju Dress (Snow fairy)

The Lumikeiju dress is knitted with a soft and lightweight blend of Lana Cotton (cotton and extrafine merino). This yarn was chosen for its breathability, ensuring the dress is comfortable even in warmer weather, making it suitable for spring or summer. Additionally, the yarn is a joy to knit with, being smooth and easy to handle.
The dress is worked top-down. It starts with the neck ribbing, after which the back yoke is worked flat to the underarms and set aside. Stitches for the front yoke are picked up along the shoulder and neckline edges, worked flat, and then joined at the center front to continue to the underarms.
The front and back pieces are joined at the underarms by casting on additional stitches, and the body is worked in the round to the hem. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armholes and knitted in the round to the cuffs. If you prefer, you can use a cable needle for holding stitches instead of circular needles when stitches need to be set aside.
You can lengthen the dress as desired, even to ankle-length, but keep in mind that this will require more yarn.
