Luminary Shawl
Gauge:
Blocked swatch: using 3.75 mm hook, 21 STS by 14 Rows = 4-inch by 4-inch square.
FSC an odd number (25 for best results). Follow Rows 1 – 6 of the middle section, REP rows 3 – 6 for gauge stitches. Only count stitches 3 – 6 for gauge height.
Dimension:
Finished blocked measurements: 70 inches long and 20 inches wide.
Notes:
The Luminary Shawl can be styled multiple ways. It is a large wrap/shawl. It is wide, lacy, and has wonderful drape. Perfect for dates, weddings, photo shoots, or believe or not an everyday scarf to stylish up your outfit.
You can do a few different color combos. The shawl featured in this pattern uses 3 colors with the middle yarn having colors of the other two. You can do a 2-color option with the middle as a contrast. You can do this 1 color for a solid beauty especially if it’s speckled or if it’s variegated. A gradient would be harder to do since unless you have 2 skeins since we start with the middle section of the shawl first so keep that in mind.
