Hat and cowl are worked from the bottom up in the round beginning with a corrugated ribbed brim. Latvian Braids flank the stranded colorwork section.

Hat uses 165 yds/151 m of MC and 80 yds/73m of CC.
Cowl uses 190 yds/174 m of MC and 190 yds/174m of CC.
Two hanks of each color are needed to make the hat and cowl set.
