I wanted to create a project that would show off the unique texture of an extreme thick and thin slub yarn and would be worn by many people. I also wanted this project to be accessible for beginners and for those on a budget. The Lumpkins Cowl was the perfect project for my needs--super easy to knit up, this cowl is knit flat then twisted and seamed into a mobius loop. When using a full skein (100 yards) of Yarnarchy Thicket and Thin art yarn, this cowl should be full and long enough to wrap three times, or twice around the neck with room to pull the third wrap over the head as a narrow hood.

Fantastic!

Note-The gauge on this is very very loose and I often use a modified drop stitch when knitting it myself. If you have trouble getting the gauge loose enough, feel free to contact me and I’ll send you the link to a tutorial.
