Luna Cowl
Inspired by the phases of our beloved moon, the Luna Cowl depicts its waxing and waning in side-by-side full and open moon motifs. This single-sided stranded colorwork pattern is worked in the round using two colors with an “Eclipse” dark CC on light MC option and a “Starry Night” light CC on dark MC option.
This pattern is meant to be a gateway into stranded colorwork and contains video tutorials for each technique to help out with anything new.

SIZING AND GAUGE
Size & Finished Measurements
One size
Approximately 12.5” W x 11.5” H (32 x 29 cm) when finished and blocked
(This final size will vary if using smaller needles for ribbing and braiding.)
I knit fairly tightly and during testing, final MC usage varied a fair bit. If you are worried about your gauge after swatching, I have included optional recommendations in the pattern.
Gauge
26 stitches and 28 rows for 4” (10 cm) square measured over colorwork pattern after blocking
