The Luna Set is a sweet and practical combination of a cardigan and trousers, perfect for babies and toddlers up to 2yo. The set works equally well for everyday wear or special occasions, and each piece can be worn together or separately.

Both pieces are designed to grow with little ones, featuring details like a ruffled waistband, seamless construction, and a slightly oversized fit.

The Luna Cardigan is worked seamlessly from the bottom up, featuring a delicate folded hem and button closures. Details with the beads make it super cute and fun to knit!

The Luna Pants are worked top-down, starting with a folded waistband, followed by German short rows to shape the back, and finished with a playful ruffle and bow.

Materials

Fingering weight yarn, approximately 100–400 g depending on size or double the amount for lace weight held double.

Sample uses Knitting for Olive Compatible Cashmere for trousers and Knitting for Olive merino for the cardigan.

4–6 buttons (ø 12–13 mm) & 8/0 Beads

Soft elastic for the waistband (1 cm wide) for Luna Pants.

Needles
2.5 mm US 1½ circular needles (40–60 cm cable) for body and sleeves of the cardigan and waistband of the pants.
