The Lunan Bay is a beach found in Scotland packed with sand dunes and framed with low cliffs. The two mile bay hosts picturesque views, castle ruins, and is a popular tourist spot for surfers, horse riders and fishers. This bay also turns up agates and other gems tones which glimmer when the sun hits them.
The Lunan Bay cowl is knit using textured stitches and slip stitches with pops of color to accentuate any wardrobe. The original pattern uses Malabrigo Rios worsted weight yarn in the color way Whole Grain, which shines when the sunlight hits it (much like the agate stones found don Lunan Bay), and th accent color is Malabrigo Rios yarn in the color way Marti which (representing the texture and color found in the castle ruins along the sea cliffs).
This cowl knits up fast and easily with written instructions. One size fits most. Finished garment measures 10” wide x 44” around / 112 x 25 cm.
This Pattern has not made it through all stages of testing.
