For these mid-calf socks you are going to knit a Fair Isle moon and stars design across the leg and work the foot in relaxing stickinette stitch. Only one or two colors are used in each round.

The socks are knitted cuff-down with a heel flap (slip stitch rib), gusset and a rounded toe.

The gauge is different for each size, but the gauge is within the following ranges:

30-32 stitches and 39-41 rounds (10 cm x 10 cm) in Fair Isle
32-34 stitches and 41-43 rounds (10 cm x 10 cm) in solid color

DPNs in 2.75 mm (Fair Isle) and 2.5 mm (rest)

Yarn
Sock yarn (400 m / 100 g) in 2 colors: dark blue (MC) and gold (CC)
