Lunch at Portsea
These socks are knit from the cuff down. The length of the leg can be shortened or lengthened by adding or deleting motif repeats. The heel is shaped using the heel flap method and the toe is grafted together with Kitchener stitch. Instructions are written for the magic loop technique.
Youtube video tutorials are linked throughout the pattern to help familiarize you with techniques that may be new to you.
This pattern is a tribute to the seaside town of Portsea, located in the southern part of eastern Australia. As a young woman I worked here over the summers and the beer garden in the pub is one of my favorite places in the world. I hope you enjoy learning about it in the pattern.
** ALL my patterns are free to unemployed knitters. If this is you please email me and I would be happy to gift you the pattern. **
