Gauge: 23 sts x 31 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch pattern with 3.5 mm needles
Yarn suggestion:
DK-weight wool or merino wool yarn. Recommended yarn Nurja Merino sock DK (100 g = 225 m)
Yardage:
Main color: 90(100) g of the recommended yarn or at least 200(225) m of other DK weight yarn
Contrast color 1: (flowers/stripes) 20 g of the recommended yarn or at least 45 m of other DK weight yarn. If you leave out the stripes you only need 10 g or 25 m of this yarn.
Contrast color 2: (ribbing/leaves/stems) 20 g of the recommended yarn or at least 45 m of other DK weight yarn.

The socks are knitted from cuff to toe with the Magic Loop technique. The Lupine pattern on the sock leg is knitted with stranded colorwork and twisted braids. The stems of the flowers are crocheted into the work using the Vertical Plaid knitting technique before knitting the heel. The socks have a Dutch heel and a wedge shaped toe.
