Grab a handful of beautiful springtime Lupins with these distinctive mitts. Worked seamlessly in the round from the cuff up. Featuring a comfortable gusseted palm, customizable length, textured cuff ribbing, and a unique lupin-inspired hand design, these are a fun challenge and so rewarding to look at. Here’s to an early Spring!

Suggested yarn (2 Yarns held together):

First Yarn: Sweet Paprika Designs Minuet, DK, 100% super-wash merino, in colour Jacaranda. Approx: 220 yards / 200 meters.

Second Yarn: Viola and the moon, Mohair Lace, 72% Kid Mohair / 28% Silk in colour, Abalone. Approx: 92 yards/ 85 meters.

Needles - Small circular (9”/23Cm) in size 3.5mm/US 4 for cuff and 4mm/US 6 for the length of the mitten.
Optionally, Dpns, or Magic Loop can be used.

Notions - Cable needle, stitch markers, stitch holder or scrap yarn, tapestry Needle.

Gauge - 20 stitches x 32 rows in stockinette using a needle sized 4mm/US 6.

Size - Circumference 7(8)“/17.75(20.25)cm and length 9.5”/24cm. (Length is customizable).

Notes - To Finish the top of the mitten or when working the thumb, switch to Dpns or long circular needle if
needed.
